Description
Adjustable transmit power levels and receiver sensitivity settings allow performance to be optimized in confined or congested operational areas. Extensive capability for remote operation is provided via a comprehensive set of interfaces and a dedicated full-function remote control unit.
For civil ATC and land-mobile applications, AM-voice is provided on all ICAO standard 25 kHz and 8.33 kHz VHF channels from 118 to 156 MHz.
In the marine environment, the M7 can communicate on all standard international and American VHF PM channels between 156 MHz to 163 MHz as either a ship or shore station.
Other combinations of frequency, channel spacing, and waveform are also possible.
