ACG Systems Acquired by Northrim Horizon

Northrim Horizon (“Northrim”), an Arizona-based permanent capital investment firm, today announced its acquisition of ACG Systems (“ACG” or the “Company”), a Maryland-based systems integrator and technical service provider for mission-critical wireless communication systems in the defense, federal, and commercial industries. The Company becomes Northrim’s third platform acquisition of Fund III. ACG will serve as Northrim’s foundation for additional organic growth and acquisitions in the wireless communication services industry.

Northrim has appointed Thomas Montalbano as CEO to support the existing management team and lead the platform’s expansion. Mr. Montalbano joins ACG from McKinsey & Company. Previously, he earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and served for nearly a decade as a Marine infantry officer. Bob Dick and Tim Carney, who have co-led ACG since 2005, will stay on in their current capacities, supported by a robust and talented organization built across sales, project management, engineering, and field services.
