ACG Systems Announces Contract Renewal of Southwest Airlines NOC Recording Project

ACG Systems is pleased to announce the renewal of our support contract with our long-standing partner Southwest Airlines for their Network Operations Control (NOC) Facility in Dallas, Texas.

Through this contract renewal, ACG will continue, with our partners Eventide and Vista, to provide Southwest with the DX Software Update Subscription (DXSUS) for their 600 seat Eventide NexLog 740 DX Recorder as well as On-site Service and Hardware support if needed.  The software subscription includes Linux cybersecurity updates, including vulnerability exposure resolutions that have been released to the public, functional and performance updates, and recently developed software patches. 

The Service Level Agreement (SLA) includes 24/7/365 Coverage, Virtual / Remote Support, 1-hour email and Phone Response Times, Software & Configuration Support, and Next-Day Onsite Replacement Part(s) Delivery Time, all replacement parts and labor.

The Eventide NexLog DX-Series System is integrated with Southwest Airlines’ Avtec Scout Console, which connects to and records up to 600 Primary VoIP Channels with integration to Avtec’s VP-Gate for access to all communication devices, including their IP-based VHF-AM air/ground radio network.  This solution also provides a backup system to simultaneously record all audio in parallel with the core system at their backup facility (ROC).  The system design includes four Linux-based servers, licensing for up to 1,200 VoIP lines, an integrated 7” Color Touch Screen Display, a web-based configuration manager, audio controls, speakers on the front panel, and dual power supplies, all in a 3U rack-mountable chassis.
