ACG Systems Awarded Southwest Airlines NOC Eventide Contract 

Overview

Southwest Airlines, a long-standing ACG Systems customer, has commissioned ACG Systems to replace their existing, end-of-life NICE Recording System at the Southwest Airlines Network Operations Control (NOC) Facility in Dallas, Texas.

Products

ACG Systems will provide and install the Eventide NexLog 740 DX Recorder at the Southwest Airlines NOC Facility.  The Eventide NexLog DX-Series System is designed to replace the current recorder and will be integrated with Southwest Airlines’ Avtec Scout Console.  Each recorder will connect to and record up to 600 Primary VoIP Channels with integration to Avtec’s VP-Gate for access to all communication devices.  This solution will also provide a backup system to simultaneously record all audio in parallel with the core system at their backup facility (ROC). 

The system design includes four (4) Linux-based servers, licensing for up to 1,200 VoIP lines, an integrated 7” Color Touch Screen Display, a web-based configuration manager, audio controls, speakers on the front panel, and dual power supplies, all in a 3U rack-mountable chassis.
