ACG Systems has completed the Command Center upgrade for Southwest Airlines (SWA) at Honolulu International Airport (HNL). The scope of work included upgrading the current Motorola TRBO system to Linked Capacity Plus (LCP) as well as integrating the Air/ground radio with the five (5) new Avtec Scout IP-based console system. The integration enables the Command Center Operations immediate access and patching capabilities to aircraft and ATC radio communication, ground radio communications, intercom, as well as full-featured telephone capabilities. A long-term partner with SWA, ACG Systems has updated multiple airport locations throughout the United States transitioning their operations from legacy analog systems to the most recent IP radio technology.
