Pentagon Force Protection Agency

Solution:

ACG provided the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) with secure Motorola digital P-25 radios and accessories. The purchase of these handhelds included equipment calibration and services to integrate the newer Motorola digital handsets with the existing MA COM radio system previously purchased by the Pentagon. With continuous product model releases and firmware updates, ACG recognizes that in order to protect the customer’s initial investement, existing radios must be able to integrate with the latest releases.
During the initial quote phase, ACG recommended an enhanced battery solution, enabling the PFPA to utilize twice the battery power with a modest increase in product cost. Based on intended usage, ACG estimated the extra battery power would save the PFPA tens of thousands of dollars and, more importantly, increased personnel availability to support PFPA’s mission.
