Command Center upgrade for Southwest Airlines (SWA) at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS)
ACG Systems has completed the Command Center upgrade for Southwest Airlines (SWA) at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). The scope of work included upgrading the existing Motorola Analog Radio system to a Motorola MOTOTRBO Digital Linked Capacity Plus (LCP) system.
This upgrade integrated the MOTOTRBO LCP system with the Air-to-Ground radio system and five (5) new Avtec Scout IP-based radio dispatch console positions. The AUS SWA Command Center Operations team now has immediate access and patching capabilities to aircraft communications, ATC radio communications, ground radio communications, intercom functionality, as well as full-featured telephone capabilities. A long-term partner with SWA, ACG Systems has updated multiple airport locations throughout the United States transitioning their operations from legacy analog systems to the most recent IP radio technology.
