ACG Systems has been contracted by SWA to upgrade its Command Center at Honolulu International Airport (HNL). The scope of work will include upgrading the current Motorola TRBO system to Linked Capacity Plus (LCP) and integrating with the new Avtec Scout IP-based console system. The project will also integrate the Air/Ground system with the Avtec system while implementing an ACG CrossBand system. These integrations will enable the Operations to patch their aircraft communication with the Motorola handheld radios.
A long-term communications partner with SWA, ACG Systems has updated multiple airport locations throughout the United States transitioning their operations from legacy analog systems to the most recent IP radio technology.
